Requested Graduate Minor must be an active program in the catalog.
Requested Graduate Minor must be in an area outside of the student’s major.
This request must be submitted prior to the deadline to file an application for a degree during a student’s final semester.
Minors cannot be added following the conferral of a degree.
Consult all pertinent deadlines published in the NMSU Graduate School Calendar.
A graduate minor course must be different from the graduate major course.
Students with a declared minor must have a representative from the minor department in their committees.
