About Robbie
Hello future Aggie!
My name is Robbie, and I’m a proud first-generation college graduate from El Paso, Texas. I earned my bachelor’s in Digital Media Filmmaking from NMSU’s Creative Media Institute in 2020, and later completed my master’s in Production Design for Film from Chapman University in 2023.
I’m passionate about all forms of art—from music and embroidery to baking and, of course, movies (you’ll catch me at the theater at least once a week!).
Navigating higher education wasn’t always easy, but that journey inspired me to become an admissions advisor. I know how overwhelming applying to college can be, and I’m here to guide and support you through every step.
NMSU gave me incredible opportunities and lifelong friends, and I’m excited to share my experience and help you take your first steps toward achieving your academic and professional goals as part of the Aggie family. Let’s do this—together!

First-time, full-time undergraduate students admitted to the Las Cruces campus will be required to live in a university-operated residence hall for the first academic year, or two semesters.
However, you may complete a residency exemption form (along with supporting documentation) if your situation fits within the listed exemptions and the request will be reviewed. To learn more, visit First-Year Residential Experience (FYRE).
