About Kascey

Hello future Aggie! My name is Kascey Shvans, and I am excited to connect with you as you explore your next steps in higher education here at New Mexico State University.

I am originally from a small town in Ontario, Canada but have called different parts of the Southwest United States home for most of my adult life. I earned my bachelor’s degree in 2019 from Arizona State University in Anthropology and Global Health, which grew my passion for learning and helping others find their path. My career has allowed me to support people in many ways—from guiding travelers in the airline industry to mentoring students and community members. Outside of work, I enjoy yoga and traveling, which keep me grounded and inspired.

As your Admissions Advisor, I look forward to supporting you through the admissions process and helping you feel at home here at NMSU. Go Aggies!

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have taken college courses outside of the NMSU system, you are required to send in official college transcripts from each institution you have attended. You will request official transcripts to be sent to NMSU Undergraduate Admissions. Once we receive your official transcripts it will be evaluated for transfer credit.
