We are excited to welcome your group to NMSU!
On the calendar below select the date you would like to bring your group to NMSU. Group visits look different depending on the individuals’ ages as well as the overall size of the group.
Community Colleges (students already in college looking to potentially transfer to NMSU)
: Our Community College Group Visit consists of a transfer specific presentation and a walking tour. Total time is about 1.5-2 hours.
High Schools (9th – 12th grades)
: Our High School Group Visit consists of a presentation geared towards incoming freshman and a walking tour (including seeing one of the freshman residence halls if the group is not too large). Total time is about 1.5 – 2 hours. Groups are also given a list of other departments on campus to contact that might be able to provide age-appropriate additional activities on your selected date.
Middle Schools (6th – 8th grades)
: Our Middle School Group Visit consists of a welcome and a 45-60 minute walking tour. Groups are also given a list of other departments on campus to contact that might be able to provide age-appropriate additional activities on your selected date.
Elementary School (3rd – 5th grades)
: Our Elementary School Group Visit consists of a welcome and a 30-45 minute walking tour. Groups are also given a list of other departments on campus to contact that might be able to provide age-appropriate additional activities on your selected date.
Younger than 3rd grade
: Given the limited facilities and resources that we have as a university to work with this young of an age group, our Campus Visit Coordinator will reach out to you to discuss options for your selected date.
