About Danielle
Hello future Aggie! My name is Danielle and I was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, so naturally I’m a Packers Fan! However, I grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico where I attended NMSU and received BA degrees in Psychology and Communication Studies in 2004, and a MA in Higher Education Administration in 2009. I have been working in Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation since 2005.
I love working for NMSU because I have the honor of helping students achieve their dreams. The energy and excitement of our students is contagious and I am so fortunate to be a part of it all. I love it here at NMSU and I know you will too! I look forward to meeting with you soon. Go Aggies!

Yes. All new, incoming freshmen and transfer students must complete orientation before registering for classes. Orientation will provide the tools and information to make your transition to NMSU as easy as possible. See Aggie Welcome and Orientation to learn more.
First-time, full-time undergraduate students admitted to the Las Cruces campus will be required to live in a university-operated residence hall for the first academic year, or two semesters.
However, you may complete a residency exemption form (along with supporting documentation) if your situation fits within the listed exemptions and the request will be reviewed. To learn more, visit First-Year Residential Experience (FYRE).
